ATK Budget for C. Jakarta Tourism Sub-Dept Rp 50 Million

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama appreciated the efficiency of the budget for office stationery (ATK) in Central Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. Next year, this sub-dept will propose a budget of Rp 50 million.

For TDUP service, will require a lot of paper

Responding on this matter, Central Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-dept Head, Deddy Soetardi said that the ATK budget could be proposed because his sub-dept will no longer serve the Tourism Letters for Business (TDUP) because already done at One-Stop Integrated Services (PTSP).

In addition, he assessed, for correspondence, he uses electronic mail or email thus they can save paper expenditure.

"For TDUP service, will require a lot of paper. In Central Jakarta itself, there are about 1,200 tourism entities that would apply. But now, it is served in the PTSP," Soetardi said, Wednesday (11/25).

In future, he furthered, such budget proposed is about Rp 8.5 billion or decreased 36 percent from previous proposed budget by Rp 12.8 billion. However, he asserted, budget cuts will not affect his dept.'s performance.

"The budget for abang-none, festival, participation in the flagship event the provincial level, art showcase in the related agencies and year-end art performances event," he stated.
